First Grade

Briarwood's 1st Grade team work together to provide learning opportunities for all of our students.  Studies include units on the Oceans, Magnets, Plants, Bugs and Insects, Balls and Ramps and Fairy Tales.  These units include such field trips as the Seattle  Aquarium, the Pacific Science Center, and the IKEA Performing Arts Center.
Of course lots of reading, writing, and math are also a part of the year!
