Briarwood Site Council Minutes

The Briarwood Site Council, which meets monthly, is comprised of five parents and five staff members, including the principal. The purpose of the Site Council is to ensure our students' success by helping advance the District's mission, "All Students Learning Well" through collaborative planning, communications and decision-making. Specifically, Site Councils are intended to foster continuous improvement of the school's educational program, blend the values and perspectives of the community, staff, and students in school-wide decisions, and foster effective communication among all stakeholders in the school.

The 2009-2010 Site Council Members are:  Principal, Drew Terry, Ben Coyne, Teresa Capen, Angela Gillen, Jennifer Mitchell, Nancy Nievaard, Leslie Kahler, Marye Kae Anderson, Lara Chung, Polly Niblock, and Joan Siegfried.
