State Capitol Building in Olympia: |

| Olympia, Washington, is the home of our state government. The Capitol Building was completed in 1927, 38 years after Washington became a state. | Head to south Seattle and visit the Museum of Flight. | Embark on a five and a half hour science cruise from Pier 55 on Seattle's Waterfront. Study the diverse biology and habitats of the Puget Sound through observing and analyzing live specimens brought up from the water by SCUBA divers. Learn how to run water-sampling tests to determine temperature, density and salinity as a lead-in to discussions on pollution issues affecting the Puget Sound. |
