Curriculum

Reading-WASL practice.

Writing-We will be continuing the narrative form of writing, focusing on writing about characters, describing a setting, and solving a problem within a story.  Students will be working on a group narrative Power Point

Science-We begin our Electricity Unit that will last for six weeks. 

Math- After Break we will begin lesson 6.8, our Geometry Unit.  We will be finished in two weeks.   It is very helpful for you to check your child's math work using the answer key before sending the homework back to school. 

Multiplication and division facts:  Students should have passed their 2,5,10, 11's sets so far and be working on 3's and 4's.

Cursive-We are still plugging away learning capital letters and are up to J at this time.

Goals-I am meeting with each child individually to discuss the progress they have made toward their goals. We will be making new goals in a couple of weeks.

Report Cards-Sent home March 14th.

Miss Peterson's last day will be March 14th.  Boo Hoo Hoo!!!!
