Hello! 
I would like to take some time to introduce myself. My name is Sarah Rahlfs and I teach first grade at Briarwood Elementary. This is my fourth year teaching at Briarwood! I grew up on a dry land wheat farm in Prosser, Washington. I attended Washington State University where I completed my teaching certificate. After graduating from W.S.U. I decided to move to Spokane and became a substitute teacher. I was hired by the Issaquah School District in June 2004. We made the big move to Bellevue that summer. I live with my husband, Rick, our daughter Isabella and our dogs, Oscar and Goldie. I love teaching, spending time with my family, hiking, and traveling.
I am very excited about the upcoming school year.
