Volunteering
After the first month of school, we more than welcome volunteers! The first
few weeks of school in first grade are a wonderful time for the children and I
to work on community building. This is the time when we work on routines.
These routines then help us establish natural times where volunteers are needed
the most.
A variety of opportunities will be available for volunteer times including student help, classroom help, party organizing, field trips or room-parent. I look forward to having you become a part of our classroom community beginning late September or early October!
Please be sure to fill out a volunteer form in the office. A clearance must be on the file before an adult can help in the classroom or on field trips. Feel free to call if you would like me to check the data base for your most recent information.
