Classroom Discipline Plan

                      Classroom Rules

1.  Contribute to our learning by:

       *Listening    *Following Directions and Procedures

*Participating    *Coming to class prepared to learn

 2.  Respect the feelings, rights, and property of others and yourself.

 3.  Put forth your best effort.

Students have a pocket with colored cards on their desks.  They will each have a Green, Yellow, Orange and Red card.  If a student is given a warning, their card will be flipped to the appropriate color, indicating the appropriate consequence.

The consequences of not following the rules are:

 Doing Fine:  GREEN-making good choices.

 First Time:  YELLOW-Warning and you will lose 5 minutes of recess.

 Second Time: ORANGE-You lose 10 minutes of recess and be responsible for a written explanation of your misbehavior and why it is not appropriate.  This may be sent home for a parent signature.

 Third Time: RED- You will lose recess. This may also result in a phone call home and an action plan discussed by student, teacher and parent.

 Severe Disruption:  You will be sent to the office.
